Maintenance Technician Bartlett, IL
SHIFT | HOURS: 3rd shift | 10p – 6a M-F (with OT as business dictates)
SALARY RANGE: $30.00-38.00
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
- 3-5 years of related experience in packing machines/production machines with specific experience in food safety and understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Must be flexible to work weekends as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the repair and upkeep of the facility and its machinery.
- Perform preventative (PM) maintenance tasks on company equipment.
- Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs per work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance around the building.
- Repair plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
- Work on low-voltage electrical issues
- Perform hazardous communication audits and address potential safety hazards.
- Practice and maintain efficient housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
